A Pity! Ebira Rap Is Dead’, Boy Whinny Emphasises Despite Kogi Central Rappers’ Outburst

Nigerian music superstar, Abdul Ibrahim fondly known as Boy Whinny, has reiterated a

comment he made early in the end of the week that the rap genre is dead in Kogi Central and it bores him.

In an interview with WizvibesNg Media, published on Saturday, the singer said, “Afrobeats

is the new school pop.

“If I’m being honest, I don’t listen to any other genre of music anymore. I don’t listen to rap –

that sh*t is boring to me. It’s dead now, it’s tired. These guys do the same shit,

rap on the same beats and the same flows.”

However, the views of the award-winning artiste did not sit well with Kogi Central rap artistes who took to their various social media accounts to air their opinion.

While reacting to Boy Whinny’s comment, former iconic Nigerian rap artiste who is now a singer, Tphile Ohi via his official facebook account on Saturday reeled out Limson Makanaki as the only rap artistes doing well in kogi central music industry.
